Service to the Lord
We are called for a holy and noble purpose! You were put on earth to make a contribution. You were not created just to consume resources; to eat, breathe, and take up space. God designed us to make a difference with our life.
We were created to add to life on earth, not just take from it. God wants you to give something back. This is God’s purpose for your life, and it is called your “ministry” or service.
Music Ministry
The music ministry has biblical and spiritual roles to play in our worship of God. The music ministry of Prayer House Church sees themselves as ministers of the gospel using the tool of music to achieve their mandate rather than entertainers.
Ushering Ministry
An usher is a spiritual ambassador for the local church – God’s ordained and organized body of believers. The ushering ministry of Prayer House serves as the “first representative” of Jesus Christ for every worship service. We believe there must be decency and order in the House of Worship.
Youth Ministry
Investing in today’s youth is necessary for growing the body of Christ. Teaching young people in the church to grow in their relationship with the Lord prepares them to serve Christ in all they do. As a result, this nurtures the congregation and allows the church to flourish.
